Hi all.

I have read various threads on here for removing the rear anti tamper screw.

I have now drilled it out to just under three mm in diameter. And deep enough to reach anti tamper pin.

Having done this and removed the front screw under the magazine housing the barrel section will still not come apart from the trigger/air tube part.

Mr reason for doing this is I have fitted  a Rob lane regulator and am down on power. I want to remove the anti tamper pin to increase power from my current level of 7.8ft/lb back up to 11.8 ft/lb which I had prior to fitting ref.

Any ideas or am I missing something ?

you need to drill the head off completely as in the countersunk part of the anti tamper needs to be drill out its exactly same countersunk angle as the front screw once the head is drilled off/out the 2 parts will come apart its only those 2 screws holding he 2 parts together.
when you do split the 2 tubes be very carefull as there is a small spring that will drop out !

Conair,

Many thanks for info. Drilled head off. Used the 2.8mm drill bit that came with the roblane regulator. Gun went a little hot. Wound it back to 11.3 ft lb. Reinstalled anti tamper pin. And new M4 bolt.  All good.......

Yes your right there. Small drill bits were ok. It was when I put the huge but to take the head off I got nervous. But ok on the end
